Emergencies

We make time available to see people suffering with dental emergencies. These are available to anyone, whether you are a regular patient with us or not.

Please contact the practice as soon as possible after we are open. If you have an urgent dental problem please ring early. We will try to accommodate you as soon as possible on the same day if possible. However, it is more likely that an appointment will be offered for the next working day.

Top tips for common emergencies

Try to find the tooth.
Call the surgery to arrange an emergency appointment.
Remove any dirt or debris from the tooth by rinsing gently.
To avoid damaging the socket, don't try to replace the tooth in the gum.
Keep the clean tooth in the inside of your cheek - or wrap it a clean cloth and store it in a container filled with milk.
